Noise has beaten off tough international competition to win the music pitch for BBH London’s Audi A1 ‘Good Morning’ campaign with their track ‘On My Way’.

The music brief sought to find the perfect track for the spot - either licensed or commissioned – with Noise’s custom-written track, created by Creative Director Bruce Heald, beating off tracks from other leading sound houses and existing recording artists in the UK and Australia.

Simplicity Funerals

This Simplicity Funerals spot via Banjo highlights the advantages of a small, one-off, pre-payment vs ongoing funeral insurance premiums.

To help the pictures tackle this typically awkward topic, the music needed to inject charm and help frame the product in a positive, optimistic light.

Noise achieved this through the use of warm, acoustic, approachable sounds, creating an emotional tone that provided a feeling of opportunity.

Creative reinvention of a popular classic to reflect the Huggies brand values.

It’s always exciting and slightly daunting being asked to reinvent an iconic song, but when O&M asked Noise to create a new version of ‘It Must Be Love’ for Huggies, the process flowed seamlessly. The music and pictures work perfectly together to create a true strength of feeling in this spot.

Optus 'Whale Song'

Multi-award winning music that formed the basis of an integrated campaign.

When M&C Saatchi Sydney Executive Creative Director Ben Welsh asked Noise Creative Director Bruce Heald to help him create a campaign for Optus based on the evocative sounds of Whale Song, no one anticipated the overwhelming consumer response that would follow. The haunting ‘Whale Song’ music was used to communicate Optus’s message of “Anything’s Possible Through Communication,” and formed the basis of the entire campaign with people being able to create their own ‘Whale Song’ at a dedicated microsite. The music swept the boards at awards around the world for its originality and evocative power. ‘It’s rare that we get to work on a campaign from its conception, so this was especially rewarding,’ said Bruce Heald. ‘Usually we work with pictures that have already been shot, but with this project we were involved from the very start as the whole campaign was based around the sound and music.’

Hugely successful track for the GO! launch promo.

Nine Network’s brief to Noise was to create a theme song for their new channel, Go! that sounded like a chart pop song. It needed to be full of energy and excitement to match the youthful character of the new channel, and reflect the audience it was targeting. Noise created just such a track, featuring artist Sharon Muscat from Sister2Sister fame, which is proving hugely successful. ‘As soon as the promo aired Nine was inundated with calls from viewers demanding the info necessary to buy the song,’ said Bruce Heald, Noise Creative Director. ‘We have now released a full-length track as a single which is selling well.
Noise created the original Optus brand track via M&C, which features melodically in all the Optus ads. For Optus Gurus, Noise created this musical adaptation of their original brand track using a sitar and Indian percussion to highlight the spot’s ‘guru’ theme. Noise’s work for Optus is a good example of the successful musical development of an organization’s audio branding.
